“Mori-Mori-Mori-Mori-Mori Morioh Cho Radio!”

The peaceful town woke to the upbeat rhythm of the radio, starting a brand new day. Josuke gelled his hair before heading to school, lounging with Okuyasu and Koichi like three chuunibyou.

Yet, in a quiet corner of the town, Yoshikage Kira, a serial killer disguised as an ordinary salaryman, was already hunting his next prey.

The town was not as joyful as it appeared. Even though Yoshikage met his end, the trauma that he inflicted remained like a permanent scar.

“Morioh Cho Radio” sounds happy and humorous on the surface, but there’s also a lingering sense of subtle sadness for everything the town lost.

  • A Closer Look at the Sheets:

Intro:

Verse:

The left hand mimics the bass and electric guitar, while the right hand remains the original keyboard part.

Chorus:

In measures 13-14, the A4 in the treble clef brings a distinct ‘blue’ feeling to the piece.

  • Use of Pedal:

Use the sustain pedal throughout the piece, but ensure the transitions are clean.

  • Performance:

I transcribed the track and recorded the performance back in 2021, but I’ve recently revisited and refined the arrangement. Please note that the current score differs slightly from the original performance.
